Pauline writes: “We had a lovely OPEN DAY – beautiful sunny weather, lots of interest, all courts busy with members hitting with newcomers, Ray from InterSport Lewes displaying loads of racquets, giving valuable advice in helping people to choose the best racquet for their particular game, Ali encouraging little children to play and getting new members for the Junior coaching on Saturday mornings and Mel giving free coaching with his usual charm and expert encouragement. Thank you so much to them for making it such a success.
As well, I particularly want to thank “our rock” Terry who is always ready to help and support the club, Gabrielle who came to help with the catering, Jane Francis for taking the photographs, and finally but most sincerely thanks to Conrad who put out all the information and advertised the event on social media, the website and local papers and for spending endless hours with Mel in setting up the booking system for us. They all deserve a medal.”
