The building works at Queens Park Tennis Club are progressing well, without causing disruption to play and use of clubhouse.

The finished work will see expanded floor space within the building, with much needed extra storage space. There will be improved and expanded toilet facilities, including a disabled loo.

Existing windows will be re-positioned on the new outer walls. On the East Drive side the framework for the extended bar area and storeroom/plantroom can be seen.

It is hoped to have all the new control equipment in place by the end of July well before Autumn. The accessible toilet and kitchen area on the park side of the clubhouse have all the groundworks completed and construction of the outer wall has commenced.

Within a few weeks it will be possible to see the new profile of the clubhouse. It is hoped that all works will be complete by mid September.
