Pasha Hrytskiv, 14, has enjoyed a successful winter season in Sussex, winning four LTA Grade 3 singles titles, including the boys Under 18 tournament at Sutton last month. Pasha, who still practices at Queens, is now Sussex number one in his age group [#27 UK]. He was recently invited to train at the National Tennis Centre with the best young players in the country. Last summer he won the Ukraine Open Tennis Europe title in singles and doubles. He also represents Sussex at county level.
Pasha is a scholar at Bede’s School, near Eastbourne. He and his mother Nataliia, from Kyiv, came to Brighton after Russia invaded Ukraine in 2021.
