MIXED DOUBLES CUP COMPETITION: ROUND 2 RESULT
Katie Johnson (Queens)/Sam Waller-Carr (Queens) def. Hayley Oxley (Blakers)/Josh Wilson (Blakers) seeded 2 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 in Round 2. Katie and Sam will now meet Ella Lineham (Saltdean)/Andy Black (Saltdean) seeded 10 in Round 3.
COME AND WATCH: Sam is playing his Parks Cup Round 2 mens singles match vs Kisoran Moodley (King Alfred – seeded 11) this Saturday on Court 1 at 11am. Come and give him some support.
And well done to club secretary Joel Pearcy (seeded 4), who is already through to Round 4 after defeating Stephen Milonas (Hove) 7-5, 6-4 in Round 3. Joel will now meet either Josh Wilson (Blakers-seeded 5) or Marco Pineda (St.Ann’s-seeded 12) in Round 4.
Parks Cup finals day takes place at Queens Park Tennis Club on Saturday 21 July.
