Please join us for our Open Day on Saturday 16th June, 12.30-5pm.
Admission is free, and visitors are welcome to hit a few balls and enjoy some tea and cakes with guests and members. Children and adults are invited to join informal coaching sessions, an excellent way for newcomers to discover the sport.
You can book a session (Adult or child) via our LTA booking page. Click here.
Ray The Racquet, from Intersport of Lewes, is bringing a selection of top class tennis racquets for visitors to try out.
The club is going through something of a transformation at the moment, with major maintenance work across the board. The courts have been relayed and repainted, and the interior of the old Pavilion clubhouse, built in 1930, has been restyled and renovated. We are planning to have the old building freshly decorated for your inspection in time for the Open Day.
Local residents are invited to visit to chat about the future of tennis in Queens Park. The committee is particularly keen to establish the pavilion as a community hub, and to establish a children’s tennis development programme for Queens Park. If you are a teacher or a local parent, please drop by.
The club, founded in 1939, has six courts (four upper and two lower). In agreement with the council, the new Queens Park Tennis Club CIC will shortly take over the running of the club, taking on responsibility for all funding and administration.
