Clocks Go Forward, Tennis Season Begins

Pauline writes: “Spring is here at last and time for us all to come out of hibernation. The clocks go forward at the weekend so we’ll have an extra hour of light on Sunday and on Monday we really start the tennis season with our evening sessions so dust off your racquets and come and have a hit with old friends and rivals.

Clocks go forward 1hr on Sunday, March 25 at 1am.

Club Sessions:
Mondays and Fridays from 5.30pm until dusk
Sunday afternoons from 2-6pm
Monday morning drop-in 10.30-12

I know many of you have been playing valiantly throughout the winter on mossy courts, in wet and slippery conditions (even in the snow) and you will have noticed that courts 1 and 2 are being re-surfaced. All the work on the courts should be completed by the middle/end of April. In the meantime we will play on courts 3 and 4 and on the lower courts 5 and 6 if necessary, also for our Parks League matches which start on 10th April.
