Appointment of Interim Tennis Coach Saturday Mornings

The Directors are extremely pleased to announce the appointment of a new tennis
coach at Queens Park Tennis Club, ‘one of our own’, Sam Reay Smith.
Working under the guidance and support of Head Coach Mel Bowden, Sam will be
developing a new and exciting range of tennis coaching opportunities at the club
targeted to juniors and senior participants, members and non-members.
Sam is a gifted and highly regarded tennis player. He is a qualified teacher and has
maintained an active and committed engagement with Queens Park tennis club over
a period of time. Sam currently plays competitive tennis for the club, representing us
at the highest levels across all appropriate leagues and competitions.
Sam’s work will focus upon the design and delivery of a range of junior tennis
coaching opportunities, specifically those offered on Saturday mornings.
We will be supporting Sam’s development as a coach over the coming months.
