A five week  contract has started for all external areas of the clubhouse to be repaired, renewed and painted. This includes the patio. The rear of the Clubhouse is badly worn and specialist contractors will renew all the lower sections of the external wall. When complete, that is the final phase of the upgrades negotiated between the Club and the Council.

As part of compliance to planning permissions granted to the Club a number of bird boxes have been installed around the upper courts. Over 500 daffodil bulbs and some tulips have now been planted which only leaves the area between the Clubhouse and East Drive to complete. This together with over 100 lavender plants should make the surrounding area attractive
